August Charity Hat

7/30 – I have a good bit of this yarn left over from my crochet top, and I’d really like to use it up. I’m holding it double for this hat. I know it won’t use it all, but it’ll make use of some of it.

Also, I know I’m early for my August hat, but considering I’ve got a three week trip coming up, I figure it’s fine to get a head start.

8/18 – I don’t remember when I actually finished this hat, so I’m arbitrarily picking the 12th. It was sometime last week. I still need to weigh it to see how much yarn I used.

I still have the better part of two balled up skeins left from what I’d had prepped for my top, but yesterday I found three more skeins that have never been wound. I’ve literally got enough of this yarn for a whole other top. :face_palm: Not the worst of problems, but I have no idea when it’ll get used or for what.

8/19 – finally weighed the hat. Exactly 100 grams! LOL
