Classic Halloween Vibes Socks

9/22 – These started as the colorway samples for the shop.

I’m doing my usual 2×1 rib with contrasting heel flaps and toes.

This project went with me to Newfoundland and I was able to work on it during both ferry rides. At this point both cuffs are finished, as are the heel flaps and heel turns.

10/7 – Finished! I love how these turned out! As I neared the toes, I decided I didn’t want to do them in the contrasting colors, mainly because how they worked out colorwise would have meant I’d be using the same color for the toe in each sock as I’d used for the heel instead of the other color (which is my preference). I still had plenty of self-striping left for each sock, so I decided to just do stripey toes. I’m happy with how that worked out.
