Corgi Hill Farm – Three Ply Two Ways

7/31/26 – Corgi Hill Farm, Merino/Camel/Bombyx Silk – Exhilaration Dance (gradient) – 3 ply 2 ways – split braid on half lengthwise

1st half – spin end to end as gradient and chain ply

xx wraps; xx gr./ xx oz.; xx yd. unsoaked; xx yd. soaked

2nd half – divide into 3 strips, spin on the separate bobbins, two one color direction, the last in the other, and traditional three ply for a fractal.

8/23 – At this point, singles for both halves of this project are done. I think I’m going to ply on my e-spinner due to some foot issues I’m having that may or may not be related to treadling?

While this spin was originally going to be for socks, I love this fiber and these colors too much to relegate them to my feet. I think this is going to need to be a shawl or maybe even incorporated into a sweater somehow.
