Cozy Ribbed Neckwarmer
Materials:
Yarn: Fibernymph Dye Works Confetti Tweed Merino DK, Warm Honey colorway, 283 yards. (Held two strands double.)
Pattern: Cozy Ribbed Neckwarmer, by Handknit Yarn Studio (free pattern on their website, as well as on Ravelry)
Needles: US 10.5
Details:
I held two strands together to get an Aran/Chunky weight, so I used 57.5 grams of each skein/approx. 141 yds. I also used a US 10.5 because apparently I don’t own 11s.
It’s an easy pattern and it fits great. My only note on the construction would be to use a 24″ circ to do the first part that’s knit flat. I found it awkward to do with the 16″, but I was working on it on the car and that was the only one I’d taken with me. But that’s a personal preference thing.
I ended up making this about 2″ longer than the pattern called for, and inch longer in the split section and an inch taller in the neck section. If I’d have done it the way it was written, I probably could have gotten away with using a single skein of DK split in half and held together.
This was a super quick knit, very fun pattern, and it’s a delightfully squishy neckwarmer!
