February 2025 Charity Hat

Scrappy hat holding two strands of self-striping fingering weight together for a DK weight hat. Worked over 96 stitches, 2×2 rib for brim, then broken rib for body of hat — knit 2 rounds, then k2p2 on the third round. Decreased in eight sections of 12 stitches every other round, moving the decrease so it fell on a two-same-stitch area. Finished with two rounds of centered double decreases. Has one stitch left over on the last round so I just knit it as it was going to be scrunched up at the top anyway.
