Large Granny Pumpkin
Materials:
Yarn: Fibernymph Dye Works Mountain Tweed BFL in Peach, Warm Honey, Sand, and Wisp. Held double throughout. (I didn’t weight to see how much I used of each, nor did I weight the final pumpkin before stuffing. Sorry!)
Hook: D
Pattern: The Granny Pumpkin, by Somerr Barrett of Stitch Sister Co. Pattern is on Ravelry here.
Details:
I followed the large size pattern instructions for this. No mods made, though if I make another one, I will add an extra decrease round to the top and split up the last decrease round into two because the fabric of the next-to-last round really gets pulled and you can see the stuffing quite a bit as a result (see the third picture for what I’m talking about). I camouflaged that by crocheting my little viney tendrils, and that worked fine (and I’ll honestly be making those on future pumpkins even if I don’t need to camouflage the stuffing), but I think an extra decrease round would still be a good idea.
Love the pattern though! Used a cinnamon stick for the stem. In a smaller one I made, I just used a stick from outside. LOL
