Marled Scrappy Hat

10/1 – I needed an easy, mindless, instant gratification project that I knew would get done quickly. Winner!

Charity hat made from leftover stash. Two strands held together. Based it on my [previous marled hat recipe][1] that I developed back a couple years ago when I was on a marled hat kick, which is basically this:

Cast on 86 stitches on smaller needles. K1 P1 rib for as long as you want it. Increase 10 stitches evenly in first round after ribbing in stockinette on larger needles. Work body to desired length. Work decreases in 12 stitch increments and working them every other round.
