Rios Reciprocal – Frogged :(

Yarn: Malabrigo Rios (I’ve lost the ball tags so I can’t remember the colorway!)
Needle: US7

1/4/24 – Soooo…I reached the halfway point and joined the second skein and started the decrease half. We were watching a movie while I was working on it, so I wasn’t in good light and didn’t notice until several inches into the second half that the second skein of this yarn is SIGNIFICANTLY darker than the first, and there is a VERY noticeable line where the two come together. :slightly_frowning_face:
If it was for me, I wouldn’t care, but I don’t think I want to gift it this way.
It never occurred to me to alternate skeins to begin with. Rookie mistake for sure.
Since this isn’t a pressing gift project, I think I’m probably going to frog it and either re-start it alternating or just put the yarn back in stash to use at another time and make something else for the intended gift recipient. Sigh.
(I need to take a picture before I frog this so I can have a visual reminder of the color difference.)
