I started the first sock as a colorway sample when I launched this color, but it will eventually be a pair of socks for me. My usual 2×1 rib recipe.

12/3 – I’ve done the heel flap and heel turn…twice. First time, I somehow ended up with three extra stitches on the heel half of the sock and I couldn’t figure out why, when I started working the first decreases, it was so wonky. Counting matters. :face_with_rolling_eyes: Ripped back, fixed the stitch count on the needles, and did it again.

I did a modified slipped stitch heel flap, following the established pattern and slipping the purl stitches only. It turned out well and looks nice.
